"As I child, I dreamed of worlds fit for exploring, and as I grew, I found those places existed all around me, if I only I took the time to look!" - J. T. Miller
Born John Sanford Miller III, nicknamed Trey, author J. T. Miller grew up on both sides of the tracks. From a young age he was able to explore music and arts with the support of his family, and from a young age he was blessed to travel the world.
At the age of 15, J. T. Miller set out on his own in life, taking up residence in an aluminum warehouse owned by his father's business. During that time, he worked closely with a local church and participated in student government, while living the double life of a bare-knuckle boxing street urchin in his warehouse loft.
Miller attended the University of Central Florida where he rediscovered a love for music and art, After encountering the nomadic "Rainbow Gatherings," in the Ocala National Forest, Miller left college to hitchhike around America, then spent the first half of his twenties managing the entertainment collective "Whatsit Records."
Over the years, J. T. Miller developed an aptitude for performance, first on the harmonica, then the piano and banjo. He toured the country with his bands "We're All Gonna Die," "Harmonica Man and the Sawgrass Band" and "Blubop Fandango," then produced his first studio releases alongside his current bandmates in "Tire Fire."
